Latest water samples meet and exceed all state and federal health and safety standards

June 12, 2019 –Rowland Water District will release its annual Consumer Confidence Report on July 1, the findings of which will focus primarily on recent water quality testing results. Also known as the Annual Water Quality Report, the document tells customers exactly where their water comes from and what is in it. The report will be available online at and at District headquarters.

“Protecting our water resources on behalf of our customers is our highest priority,” says Tom Coleman, Rowland Water District General Manager. “The results of this most recent water quality testing are a testament to these efforts and the dedication of our staff to provide high quality drinking water 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.”

In the past year, Rowland Water tested nearly 1000 water samples for regulated and unregulated contaminants and impurities. The 2018 report describes the quality of District water in detail, while also providing information about mandatory water use restrictions and current infrastructure projects and their impacts on customers. The document also chronicles some of the District’s outreach and education efforts in the last year.

“Our goal is to provide our consumers with a safe and dependable supply of drinking water, and for them to understand the ongoing efforts we make to continually improve our water treatment process and to protect our precious water resources,” adds Coleman. “Connecting with the community about the entire water process and our staff’s commitment to our customers is vital.”

Rowland Water District is committed to meeting our future water needs and diversifying our water supply portfolio, enhancing customer service and promoting financial stewardship. Since 1953, Rowland Water has continued to sustain the necessary resources to provide customers with the highest level of water quality available.
