Rowland Heights, CA (June 23, 2021) – Customers of Rowland Water District can continue to confidently enjoy their drinking water, as recently released 2020 water testing results demonstrate the District exceeds all state and federal health standards.

California requires all public water systems to regularly test supplies for the presence of bacteria and other substances. Those test results are then reported to state regulators and water customers through an annual Water Quality Report. The 2020 Rowland Water District Annual Water Quality Report presents detailed findings of more than 1,000 water tests performed between January 1 and December 31, 2020.

“We are especially proud to share these results from a very challenging year as we coped with the coronavirus pandemic,” said Rowland Water District General Manager Tom Coleman. “This report demonstrates how our entire team worked together through this difficult time to ensure we provided a safe and reliable supply of water to our community.”

In addition to the test results, the Water Quality Report contains a wealth of important information, including details about water sources, capital and system improvement projects, conservation ideas, virtual education programs and highlights from the new “RWD – Our Community, Our Family” program, where District employees volunteer and make contributions to give back to the community.

To increase awareness of this important and valuable report, postcards were mailed to all Rowland Water District customers alerting them that the full report will be available online as of July 1, 2021.
