October 4, 2019– Rowland Water District is proud to participate in The Magic of Service: Customer Service Week 2019”, which will take place from October 7-11. Customer Service Week is an international event focused on the importance of customer service, and of the people who serve and support customers on a daily basis.
“This annual event gives us a chance to engage in face-to-face, meaningful conversations about the topics that are most important to our customers, including conservation,” explains Tom Coleman, Rowland’s General Manager. “To further show our appreciation, we are offering special giveaways and contests encouraging customers to learn more about water use efficiency and what they can do to save water and therefore save money on their water bill.”
Playing off of this year’s “magical” theme, customers who attend this special event will learn about how the District:
• Delivers dazzling drops to homes and businesses in the community
• Maintains the marvelous miles of mains and pipes that support the District water system
• Provides transformational treatment of water to keep residents safe
• Conjures conservation tips to help customers save water
• Offers extraordinary educational programs to students, teachers, and the community
Each year, thousands of organizations across the United States and around the world celebrate Customer Service Week during the first full week in October. They represent leading financial, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, retailing, hospitality, communications, not-for-profit, and educational organizations, as well as government agencies, and others. This year’s “Magic of Service” theme puts a special emphasis on the power of quality customer service.
“Unlike a magic trick, our excellent service record is no illusion,” adds Coleman. “We are committed to creating a positive experience for our customers, long after this celebration has ended and well into the future. Our knowledgeable customer service staff looks forward to this week every year and is excited to meet more of our customers this week.”
