The Mini Solar Challenge is designed for both 5th & 6th grade classrooms to raise awareness in the stewardship of natural resources with a culminating project that results in the building of a mini solar powered boat. Students will have the opportunity to race against other participants. The program is aligned to both 5th and 6th grade science standards and will challenge the students in all aspects of Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM).

This program is FREE but has limited availability. A presentation to go over the entire program will be held on October 3, 2019 at 3:30 PM at Rowland Water District (Board Room) located at 3021 Fullerton Road, Rowland Heights, 91748.
