Director Lu-Yang to Continue Serving as President Through 2016 with New VP

The Rowland Water District (RWD) Board of Directors met in early December to establish leadership roles for the coming year.  They also assigned Directors to committees integrally involved in working through California’s drought and other key water management issues. Szu Pei Lu-Yang was reelected to serve as President and Director Robert W. Lewis was selected as Vice President. Lu-Yang and Lewis will serve for calendar years 2015 and 2016.

“I am honored to be selected to serve as President of the Board by this group of Directors for whom I have so much respect,” said President Lu-Yang. “We have worked hard together to ensure that our customers have the best and most reliable service at the most affordable price.  I look forward to finding additional ways to serve our community as we enter 2015.”

“It is a privilege to serve in this leadership capacity at Rowland Water District,” said Vice President Lewis. “This is a hard-working and dedicated team. Together, we will continue to serve the best interests of our customers.”
