BIOGRAPHIES:
Division I - Teresa P. Rios
Teresa Rios has resided in the City of West Covina for over 30 years. Director Rios attended Four D College in Colton, California, and is now a licensed Vocational Nurse. She attended Nogales High School and graduated in l987. She currently volunteers at Hollingworth Elementary School as secretary for the Hollingworth Parent-Teachers Organization.
Division II - Anthony J. Lima
Anthony Lima was raised in the La Puente area and currently resides in Hacienda Heights. Mr. Lima, in partnership with his brother, owns a trucking company in the city of Fontana. Prior to setting up his own business, he worked in the family trucking business. Director Lima is currently President of the Rowland Water District Board of Directors; Chairperson of the Puente Basin Water Agency and Commissioner of the Pomona-Walnut-Rowland Joint Water Line Commission.
Division III - John E. Bellah
John Bellah has lived in the San Gabriel Valley for over 60 years, currently residing in Rowland Heights. After graduating from Mt. San Antonio College, he entered into a variety of major Southern California industries. Prior to his retirement, Director Bellah was the owner of two small businesses. He has also been active in his community, where he is currently a member of the Rowland Heights Community Coordinating Council, Rowland Heights Advocates for Cityhood and the Regional Chamber of Commerce of the San Gabriel Valley.
Division IV - Robert W. Lewis
Robert Lewis has lived in Southern California for over 50 years, and has lived in the Rowland Heights area since the mid 1980's. Director Lewis is a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He attended Cal State Fullerton, where he earned a certification in Industrial Process Controls and subsequently worked as a field engineer and is now retired.
Division V - Szu Pei Lu-Yang
Szu Pei Lu-Yang is a local resident of Rowland Heights and has grown up in Southern California. She is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree with honors in Political Science and Business Administration. Director Lu-Yang graduated from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and is currently practicing law in Riverside, California, in the areas of civil litigation and general liability. Director Lu-Yang has been deeply involved in community outreach and education. She is currently on the Board of Directors of the Regional Chamber of Commerce and member of the Rowland Heights Community Coordinating Council.
